review outline for Country Club Drive.
O Toured the Village and surrounding neighborhoods with
Developer interested in Tequesta Center on October 19th.
O On October 19th, attended a meeting at Juno Beach to discuss
regional fire-rescue.
O Attended the Finance and Administration Committee Meeting on
the morning of October 20th.
0 Received flu vaccination along with other employees on October
22nd.
O Attended the Martin County Commission Meeting on October 26 to
speak against the deletion of the Connector Road from Martin
County Comp Plan.
O Attended the Joint Meeting of Local Governments on October
27th.
O A Staff Meeting was conducted on November 2nd, wherein the
following items were discussed:
1) The Building Official was requested to provide a status
report relative to the Equity Study Commission.
2) The Water System Manager was requested to acquire a plain
� paper fax machine.
3) Discussed with the Building Official the feasibility of
- employee volunteer activities on Village time for the
Habitat for Humanity.
4) The Finance Director wa� instructed to provide any
overview of his plan for computerizing entire Village
budget process to eliminate excessive paperwork.
5) The Finance Director was requested to outline his plans
relative to meeting . the requirements for all Village
employees for applicability under IRS Section 125.
6) Reviewed with the Water System Manager his signage and
landscaping plans, rejected by CAB for the Water
Treatment Plant. -

7) The Water System Manager and the Finance Director were
instructed to develop fail-safe procedures to avoid
sending disconnect notices to Water System customers
whose bill is disputed and under official review by the
Water Department.
8) The Building Official was requested to provide a status
report on the staff plan review of the Van Brock
� apartment complex.
9) Reiterated with the Director of Public Works the need for
timely utility location on Country Club Drive by Gee &
, Jenson.
10) Provided an overview of the Village Manager's thinking
relative to the handling and permitting of special events
and parades.
11) Directed the Director of Public Works to provide written
notification to private property owners to remove
basketball goals from public right-of-way.
12) Instructed the Director of Public Works to expeditiously
proceed with the necessary actions to complete the design
work associated with Tequesta Park and all other projects
anticipated for.the FY 1994 Bond Issue.
13) The Chief of Police inquired as to any plans to prohibit
parking within the Country Club Drive right-of-way.
14) Chief of Police reviewed the status of employee workers'
compensation cases and direction to him by Attorneys.
15) The Water System manager informed the Village Manager
that he would be interviewed for the Space Needs Study on
November 10.
16) The Director of Public Works requested the scheduling of
a Public Works Committee Meeting with the Tree Board to
� review the Tequesta Drive Streetscape Project.
17) ? The Director of Public Works advised that Palm Beach
County was making plans for the provision of a bikepath
from County Line Road to Tequesta Drive on. Riverside
Drive and has requested Tequesta consideration of
participating in the Project for those areas upon which
the bikepath is proposed to be constructed in Tequesta.

18) The Finance Director advised that the auditors had
commenced with the annual audit and would be making
customary requests of various Departments. �
O Met on November 3rd with Developer and Councilmember Collings
to review Developer's analysis of Tequesta Center.
O Meeting on November 3rd with retiring Executive Director Les
McWhorter of the YMCA and his forthcoming replacement Bill
Dover.
O Attended the Chamber of Commerce Government Committee Meeting
on November 4th at 7:45 A.M.
O Attended the Beaches and Shores Council Meeting in West Palm
Beach on November 8th.
O Attended the Village Council Workshop Meeting on the evening
of November 8th.
O Village Manager interviewed for Space Needs Study on November
. lOth.
O In response to subpoena, attended the Siegel trial at Palm
Beach County Courthouse on November 12th.
The Water Departmeat Monthly Water Usage Report and Monthly Water
Quality Analysis for the Month of October, 1993, is attached hereto
and made a part of this Report.

the Month of October, 1993, is attached hereto and made a part of
