CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta held a Special Village Council meeting on Wednesday, January 24, 2002. Mayor Genco called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m., and Village Clerk Wolcott called the roll. MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmember Russell J. von Frank, Mayor Geraldine A. Genco, Vice Mayor Joseph N. Capretta, and Councilmember Basil E. Dalack. ALSO PRESENT: Village Manager Michael R. Couzzo, Village Clerk Mary Wolcott, and Certified Court Reporter Jane Pastore. Present via speaker phone was Village • Attorney John C. Randolph. Councilmember Sharon D. Walker was absent from the meeting. II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA MOTION: Councilmember von Frank moved to approve the agenda as submitted; seconded by Councilmember Dalack. Motion carried 5-D. III. OLD BUSINESS: MOTION: Councilmember von Frank moved to approve changing the date of the previously scheduled 6:00 p. m. February 14, 2002 attorney/client session regarding Robert and Sheila Landgraff vs Bayview Terrace Homeowners' Association, Inc. and Village of Tequesta, Case No. CA Ol -0817 AJ to be held February 8, 2002 at 3: 00 p. m. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Dalack and carried by unanimous 4-0 vote. Mayor Genco announced the new time and place for the attorney/client session regarding Robert and Sheila Landgraff vs Bayview Terrace Homeowners' Association, Inc. and Village of Tequesta, Case No. CA 01-0817 AJ, to be held February 8, 2002 at 3 p.m. at the Village of Tequesta Administrative Offices, 250 Tequesta Drive, Suite 300, Tequesta, Florida. Persons who will be attending the session were announced: Mayor Geraldine A. Genco, Vice-Mayor Joseph N. • Capretta, Councilmember Russell J. von Frank, Councilmember Sharon D. Walker, Councilmember Basil E. Dalack, Village Manager Michael R. Couzzo, Jr., Attorney John C. Randolph, and Certified Court Reporter Jane Pastore. PURSUANT TO SECTION 286.011(8) FLORIDA STATUTES, THE VILLAGE COUNCIL IS ADJOURNING AND COMMENCING A CLOSED DOOR ATTORNEY CLIENT SESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING PENDING LITIGATION AND POSSIBLE SETTLEMENT OF AN OUTSTANDING WORKERS: COMPENSATION CASE. B. THE ESTIMATED LENGTH OF THE SESSTION IS 45 MINUTES. C. THOSE PERSONS ATTENDING THE SESSION ARE: MAYOR GERALDINE A. GENCO, VICE-MAYOR JOSEPH N. CAPRETTA, COUNCILMEMBER RUSSELL J. VON FRANK, COUNCILMEMBER BASIL E. DALACK, VILLAGE MANAGER MICHAEL R COUZZO, JR, ATTORNEY ALLEN R TOMLINSON, ATTORNEY GARY M. SCHLOSS, VILLAGE ATTORNEY JOHN C. RANDOLPH VIA SPEAKER PHONE, AND CERTIFIED COURT REPORTER JANE PASTORS. D. ATTENDEES RETIRED TO CLOSED SESSION AT 5:20 p.m. V. RECONVENE COUNCIL MEETING The meeting reconvened at 6:09 p.m. VI. ANY OTHER MATTERS There were no other matters to come before the Village Council. VII. ADJOURNMENT MOTION: Councilmember von Frank moved that the meeting be adjourned; seconded by Councilmember Dalack. Motion carried 4-0. The meeting was therefore adjourned at 6:10 p. m.
