OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE VII.LAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES AT CHAPTER 18. CIVIL EMERGENCIES. BY REPEALING THIS CHAPTER IN ITS ENTIRETY; PR�VIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Village Councii of the Village of Tequesta has adopted Ordinance -13, providing an entirely new emergency management code for natural, technological and other emergencies and disasters, as well as management code for civil disturbances and disorders at Chapter 26 of the Village Code; and WHEREAS, the language contained in Chapter 18 has been relocated to the new Chapter 26, requiring Chapter 18 to now be repealed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Chapter 18. Civil Emergencies. of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta is hereby repealed in its entirety. Section 2: A11 Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. Sect'ton 3: Should any Secrion or provision of this Ordinance or any portion thereof, any paragra.ph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision sha11 not affect the validity of the remainder of this Ordinance. Section 4: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify this Ordinance. 5ection 5: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
