A resolution of The Village Council of The Village of Tequesta, Palm Beach County, Florida, amending
the 2007/2008 General Fund budget by increasing the Fire Control revenue account #001-192-337.201,
"PBC EMS Grant" by $23,007.00 and increasing the EMS expenditure account #001-193-664.601,
"Computer Equipment", by $23,007.00 for the purchase of three (3) laptop computers, software and
related accessories specified in PBC EMS Grant C70.

Subject: Palm Beach County EMS Gra ~ ward #C70
We received notification from Palm Beach County Emergency
Medical Services Office that we have been recommended to
receive a grant award for $23,007.00, to purchase three (3)
laptop computers, software and related accessories for the
Fire Rescue EMS personnel to assist them improve patient
care and in support of other EMS related software.
As a condition of the Palm Beach County Emergency Medical
Services Grant, the County requires a resolution from the
Village Council, stating that the Village will use the
grant monies, if awarded, to purchase the specified
equipment in the grant request and that the funds will not
be used to supplant the existing budget.
If you deem this request appropriate, please forward this
to the Village Council for their consideration at their
February 19, 2008, Village Council meeting.

RESOLUTION NO. 2-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE
2007/2008 GENERAL FUND BUDGET BY INCREASING THE FIRE
CONTROL REVENUE ACCOUNT #001-192-337.201, "PBC EMS
GRANT" BY $23,007.00 AND INCREASING THE EMS
EXPENDITURE ACCOUNT #001-193-664.601, "COMPUTER
EQUIPMENT", BY $23,007.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS ON
BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta seeks to improve patient care by purchasing
three (3) laptop computers, software and related accessories specified in Palm Beach
County EMS Grant C70; and
WHEREAS, there were no expenditures or revenues budgeted in the current
year's budget to fund the purchase of the equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Resolution No. 2-08 is hereby approved amending the 2007/2008
General Fund Budget by increasing the fire control revenue account # 001-192-
337.201, "PBC EMS GRANT" by $23,007.00 and increasing the EMS expenditure
account # 001-193-664.601, "Computer Equipment", by $23,007.00 and authorizing the
Village Manager to execute the applicable documents on behalf of the Village of
Tequesta.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
