The owners of the subject property provided a written consent to amend the current colors of the
Uniform Sign Format (see attached Written Consent). The previous Uniform Sign Format was
approved by the Community Appearance Board (CAB) in 1987 and amended in 1990 (see attached
document).
The propcsed Uniform Sign Format will provide consistency in terms of co!qrs of the wall signs.
Please see proposed enclosed Uniform Sign Format. This development application met the
requirements sei an Section 78-334 notice of hearing. The notice of h�aring was adveriised on Aprii
7, 2013.

All construction, additions, and/or alterations of commercial buildings must be approved by the Planning �i
Zoning Board. The Planning & Zoning Board meets the third Thupsday of eve�y �reo�th at 5:30 p.m., as
needed in the Village Hall Council Chambers, 345 Tequesta Drive. The applicant will be informed b� letter
of their scheduled meeting date. Due to administrative review, the meeting date �he anplicant is scheduled to
attend, m?y not be the closest m?eting to when the application is submitted.
The Planning & Zoning Board is an Advisory Board onlyo After review and recomanendation by the
Planning & Zoning Boarci, applications ��vall be heard at the next available Council Meetin� of the
Village of Tequesta, for final approval. After approval by the Village Council, a building permit can be
issued by the Building Depa.rtment.

The applicant will submit to the Village of Tequesta Department of Community Development with the
'' following documents for Planning & Zoning Board review, forfy-fave (45) days prior to the meeting date:
1) For new construction or additions, I+'ifteen (15) sets of professionally prepared site plans showing all
existing and proposed structures, setbacks, parking and loading layout, ingress and egress, sidewalks and
walkways, exterior lighting layout, dimensions of street frontages and property lines and all signage.
2) Fiftee� (�5) sets of Landscaping Plans in accordance with Village of Tequesta Code of Ordinances,
Division N, Landscaping.
3) Fifteeaa (15� s�ts of multi-dimensional color renderings and/or photographs are to be provided. The
Planning & Zoning Board needs to see an exact rendering of what is to be placed on the site. Color
photographs or prints as close to the actual colors to be used must be supplied. Since color printers often
do not display the correct color, it is recommended that samples of the paint chips, as well as a sample of
the support materials (i.e., canvas, wood, metal, etc.) be provided.
