RESOLUTION NO. 13-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND DIRECTING THE VILLAGE
MANAGER TO DISPOSE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE VILLAGE'S ADOPTED
PROCEDURES FOR DISPOSING OF SURPLUS VILLAGE
PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida,
esta.blished procedures for disposing of surplus Village property; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta owns a seized 2005 Ford Mustang; and
WHEREAS, the property is to be sold at public auction with the proceeds of said auction
to be deposited into the Law Enforcement Trust Fund, and used for future law
enforcement operations and/or equipment as set forth in federal law, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council declares the property as described to be surplus
property and directs the Village Manager to dispose of the
surplus property in accordance with the Village's adopted procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Village finds that this Resolution will promote the health,
safety and welfare of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 Resolution No. 13-13: The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta,
Florida, hereby declares the 2005 Ford Mustang to be surplus and directs the Village
Manager to dispose of the surplus property in a manner consistent with the Village's
adopted procedures.
Section 2 All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith shall be
and hereby aze repealed.
Section 3 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
