The subject application is seeking approva! to modifiy the existing exterior building color by changing xhe
accent trim color on all buiidings. Areas to be painted: trim at roof/gutter area, below the upper railing
and on thp side of tl�e steps. The szl�cte� color is 407-7 Shady Kn�ll (PPG Architectur�l), �lease see
attached sample.
Per applicant letter, please notiee that sorrre buildings were previoiasly painted (see attache�l pictures}.
This approval process wiil allow the appiicant to be in complianee with Village's coc�e considering current
and future trim color painting consistent with the subject application.

Dear Sir/Madam:
Attached please find our application for zoning approval for an aesthetic
change in the paint on our buildings. We are not changing color but
increasing the trim areas as shown in the attached photos.
We recently had some buildings painted and expected the contractor to
obtain the necessary approvals and permits, but they did not. Once we
became aware of this oversight we immediately began to take corrective
action. This application approval will allow us to obtain the permit that
was required.
Please be advised that we will be doing restoration work and request that
this approval applies to all current and future painting in order for alt
buildings to remain uniform.

AlI construction, additions, and/or alterations of commercial buildings must be approved by the Planning &
Zoning Board. The Planning & Zoning Board meets the third Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m., as
needed in the Village Hall Council Chambers, 345 Tequesta Drive. The applicant will be infarmed by letter
of their scheduled meeting date. Due to administrative review, the meeting date the applicant is scheduled to
attend, may not be the closest meeting to when the app'ication is submitted.
The Planning & Zoaing Board is an Advisory �ioard only. After review and recommendation by the
Planning & Zoning Board, applications will be heard at the next availabie Council Meeting of the
Village of Tequesta, for final approval. After approval by the Village Council, a building permit can be
issued by the Building Department.

The appiicant will submit to the Village of Tequesta Department of Community Development with the
following documents for Planning & Zoning Board review, forty-five (45) days prior to the meeting date:
1) For new constructiou or additions, Fifteen (15) sets of professionally prepared site plans showing all
existing and proposed structures, setbacks, parking and loading tayout, ingress and egress, sidewa(ks and
walkways, exterior lighting layout, dimensions of street frontages and property lines and all signage.
2) Fifteen (15) sets of Landscaping P(ans in accordance with Vi(lage of Tequesta Code of Ordinances,
Division IV, Landscaping.
3) Fifteen (15) sets of mu(ti-dimensional color renderings andlor photographs are to be provided. The
Planning & Zoning Board needs to see an exact rendering of what is to be placed on the site. Color
photographs or prints as close to the actual cotors to be used inust be supplied. Since color printers often
do not display the correet color, it is recommended that samples of the paint chips, as well as a sample of
the support materials (i.e., canvas, wood, metal, etc.) be provided.
4) One (1) set of Plans t lxl7 size and One (1) disk.
5) Any other documents that may he(p olarify the position of the applicant.

the side of the steps will be painted Hunter Green as per
sample attached.
