ORDINANCE N0. 267
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND
TO THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE
OF TEQUESTA.
WHEREAS, subsection 29 of Section 4.02 of Article IV
of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village
Council the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three
miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality and
lying within the "Natural Boundaries" of said municipality upon
the petition of the owner or owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, Ernest A. Dorner, the owner of a certain
parcel of land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, has filed
petition with the Village Council requesting that his land
described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of_ the
Village of Tequesta, Florida:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the parcel of land owned by Ernest
A. Dorner and more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the Northwest Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 40
South, Range 43 East, being triangular in form,
lying adjacent to and Southwesterly from the
Westerly right of way line of Florida East Coast
Railway, said land situate, lying and being in
Palm Beach County, Florida.
is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta,
Florida, with the same force and effect as though the same had
originally been incorporated into the territorial boundaries
thereof.
Section 2. That said land shall be subject to all of
the ordinances, regulations and codes of the Village of Tequesta.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect upon
its approval and passage as provided by law.

The foregoing Ordinance was offered by Councilmember
James Rvan who moved its adoption. The motion was
seconded by Councilmember W. Harvey Mapes and upon being
put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Ordinance duly passed

Gentlemen:
THE UNDERSIGNED, being the owner of the following premises

and being in Palm Beach County, Florida, and described as follows:
That portion of the IvTorthwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 30, Township 40 South, Range 43 East,
being triangular in form, lying adjacent to and South-
westerly from the Westerly right of way line of Florida
East Coast Railway, said land situate, lying and being
in Palm Beach County, Florida,
hereby respectfully request that said property which is contiguous
to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, be
annexed to and included within the territorial limits of the
Village of Tequesta, and that said property be zoned R-2, per
proposed new master land use plan being prepared by Mr. John Giba,
Tequesta Consultant.
The undersigned further certifies that he is the only owner
of said property.
