SUBJECT: Consideration of Bid Award for the Country Club Drive
Drainage Project; Agenda Item
As of this writing, Village staff is seeking quotes from three
reputable firms for the construction work necessary to provide
additional drainage relief in and around 216 Country Club Drive.
As you know, significant flooding occurred there during the recent
heavy rains experienced by the Village. The project entails.the
provision of additional drainage inlets and piping to a designated
outfall. This project has funds allocated in the Capital
Improvement Fund in the amount of $35,000. The proposals received
will be based upon the assumption of the closure of Country Club
Drive to facilitate work activity providing the lowest possible
construction price to the Village.

SUBJECT: Drainage Improvements; Country Club Drive; Agenda Item
As promised, attached hereto, please find three written bids for
the Drainage Improvement Project within the Country Club Drive
right-of-way. The low bid is by Dawson-Williams of ,7upiter in the
amount of $28,500. The Capital Improvement Fund budget allocation
for this Project is $35,000.
The consulting engineer has recommended award to Dawson-Williams in
the amount of $28,500. Staff recommends the Village Council award
the bid to Dawson-Williams, Inc., in the amount of $28,500.
Please place this item with your agenda materials.for the Special
Village Council Meeting on February 24, 1994.
