items were discussed:
1) Instructed the Building Official to provide for proper
office coverage in the absence of personnel.
2) Outlined for the Chief of Police a three-tier response to
Martin County request for mutual aid.
3) Requested the Director of Public Works and Recreation to
conduct a Tequesta Park Usage Study at the earliest
possible date.
4) The Building Official was asked to bring forward the
annexation strategy and time schedule.
5) The Chief of Police was requested to effect the towing of
an inoperative vehicle.
6) The Chief of Police was asked his opinion of 25 mph speed
limit on Country Club Drive for trucks.
7) Fire Chief indicated a new owner for the building located
at 308 Tequesta Drive.
8) The Fire Chief indicated the immediate need for back-flow
prevention devices on Beach Road condominiums.
9) The Director of Public Works reque�ted relief from the
purchase order system relative to Tequesta Drive
Streetscape Project.
10) Chief of Police reviewed Air Quality Report for Police
Department. Necessary actions to improve same were
approved.

11) Chief of Police sought clarification of sick leave
policy.
12) Water System Manager reviewed the Country Club Drive
closure plan.
13) Village Clerk indicated Full Cost Disclosure of Solid
Waster would be in the next issue of the newsletter.
O Attended the Village Council Workshop Meeting on March 15.
O Attended the Redevelopment Committee Meeting on March 16.
O Attended the North County Manager's and Finance Director's
Meeting on March 16.
O Completed the Jo�nt Local Government Traffic Study on March
17.
O Attended a meeting with Joe Benjamin on March 17.
O Interviewed PMG Associates, Inc., on March 24.
O Attended COG Luncheon on March 24.
O A 5taff Meeting was conducted on March 29, wherein the
following items were discussed:
1) The Building Official was requested to provide a status
report relative to previous request to automate
departmental processes, upgrade computers and network the
same.

existed on Old Dixie Highway for installation of FPL
power poles on east side of Old Dixie.
3) Chief of Police indicated the American Cancer Society
Jail/Bail Program was scheduled for June 7- June 10.
4) Chief of Police indicated towing of vehicles would
commence shortly.
5) Chief of Police indicated he would review proposed three-
tier mutual aid concept for Southern Martin County at the
North County Police Chief's Association Meeting.
6) The Director of Public Works reviewed matters related to
the Country Club Drive Drainage Project.
7) The Building Official submitted a copy of his new

Standard Building Code Administrator Certification.
8) Village Clerk indicated multi-family recycling is on-line
and successful.
9) Village Clerk sought direction for FEC Landscape Project�.
10) Village Clerk indicated Supervisor of Elections desire
for Village Hall as drop-off for Fall elections.
11) Met with residents of Beach Road regarding Beach Road
proposed condominium project. .
O Attended the Joint Local Government Meeting at Jupiter Beach
Resort on March 30.
O At�ended a Cypress Drive staff ineeting at ,7upiter Town Hall on
March 31.
