AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND
TO THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE
OF TEQUESTA WITH AN R-1 ZONING CLASSIFI-
CATION WITH A CONDITIONAL USE FOR A PUBLIC
UTILITY STRUCTURE (FIRE STATION)
WHEREAS, Subsection 29 of Section 4.02 of Article IV of
the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council
the power to annex any lands adjoining or with' three (3) miles of
the territorial boundaries and lying within the "natural boundaries"
of said municipality upon petition of the owner or owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta, Florida, the owners of a
certain parcel of land situate in Palm Beach County, Florida, have
filed a petition dated February 22, 1977 (copy attached to and made
a part of this Ordinance), with the Village Council requesting that
their lands described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of
the Village of Tequesta, F]_orida under the R-l, Single Family Dwelling
District Classification with a conditional use for a public utility
structure (fire station);
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
TEQUESTA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the parcel of land herein above mentioned
and more particularly described as follows:
The South 130 feet of the North 390 feet of the East
158.75 feet of the West 635 feet of the Northeast one-
quarter (4) of the Southeast one-quarter (4) of Section
25, Township 40 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach County,
Florida.
is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta,
Florida, with the same force and effect as though the same had
originally been incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof.
Section. 2. That the land described. in Section 1 of this
ordinance i.s hereby zoned R-l, Single Family Dwelling District
Classification with. a conditional use for a public utility structure
(fire station), and the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta,
being Ordinance No. 211 as amended, and the zoning map thereunder, be,
and the same are hereby amended with regard to the above described
property.
Section 3. That said lands shall be subject to all of the
ordinances, regulations and codes of the Village of Tequesta.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval and passage as provided by law.
The foregoing Ordinance was offered by Councilmember
Stephen Hudgins who moved its adoption. The motion was
seconded by Councilmember W. Harvey Mapes and upon being put
to a vote, the vote was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Ordinance duly passed and
adopted on this 1 2 day of April A.D., 1977.

Gentlemen:
The undersigned, being the owners of the following described
property situate, lying and being in Palm Beach County, Florida, and
described as follows:
The South 130 feet of the North 390 feet of the
East 158.75 feet of the West 635 feet of the
Northeast one-quarter (4) of the Southeast one-
quarter (14) of Section 25, Township 40 South,
Range 42 East
hereby respectfully request that said property, which is contiguous
to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, be
annexed to and included within the territorial limits of the Village
of Tequesta, and that said property be zoned R-l, Single Family
Dwelling District Classification with a conditional use for a public
utility structure (fire station).
The undersigned further certify that they are the only
owners of said property.
