Couuo, Jr., Village Manager �� '� Date: 4/2/2004 Re: Security Fencing for vllage of Tequesta - Water Plant In an effort to enhance plant security, I have directed plant personnel to get fencing proposals to completely fence the utility (proposals attached) Funding for this project can be accommodated utilizing existing funds in the 2003-04 water fund budget. I recommend approval of the low funding proposal submitted by National Fence Inc., in the amount of $15,355.72 plus 10% contingency ($1535.57) for a total award of $16,891.29. Michael Couzzo Attachments /tjk 1 }. i �� ;; RESOLUTION NO. 37 - 03/04 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AWARDING A PROPOSAL FROM NATIONS FENCE INC. OF WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, TO PROVIDE 1620 LINEAL FEET OF 6 FOOT ; HIGH CHAIN LINK FENCING TO COMPLETELY FENCE THE WATER PLANT TO ENHANCE SECURITY, IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,355.72 PLUS 10$ CONTINGENCY, WITH FUNDS BEING APPROPRIATED FROM EXISTING FUNDS IN THE 2003/2004 WATER FUND BUDGET, AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPLICABLE PROPOSAL ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORiDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Proposal from Nations Fence Corp. of West Palm Beach, Florida, to provide two 1620 lineal feet of 6 foot high chain link fencing to completely fence the water plant to enhance security, in the amount of $15,355.72 plus 10o contingency, attached hereto as Exhibit"A",incorporated by reference as part of this Resolution is hereby approved, and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is authorized to execute the applicable contract on behalf of the Village of Tequesta. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Council Member ,who moved its adoption.
