ORDINANCE N0. 2~1.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND TO THE TERRITORIAL
LIMITS O:F THE VILLAGE OF TEOUESTA WITH AN R-lA ZONING
CLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, Subsection 29 of Section 4.02 of Article IV of the
Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council the power
to annex any lands adjoining or within three (3) miles of the territorial
boundaries of said municipality upon petition of the owner or owners
thereof; and
WHEREAS, Charles R. L. and Jeanne B. White, the owners of
certain parcels of land situate in Palm Beach County, Florida, have filed
a petition dated September 22, 1976 (copy attached to and made a part of
this ordinance), with the Village Council requesting that their lands
described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the Village of
Tequesta, Florida under the R-lA Single Family Dwelling classification;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF TEQUESTA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the parcels of land herein above mentioned and
more particularly described as follows:
From the intersection of the waters of the Northwest Fork of the
Loxahatchee River with the Southeasterly line of Lot 16, Block C,
Jupiter Manors, Section One, sheet 4, as recorded in Plat Book 12,
page 38, public records of Palm Beach County, Florida, proceed
N. 45° 34' E., along the said Southeasterly line of Lot 16, a
distance of 6 feet to an iron pipe; thence continue N. 45° 34' E.,
along the said Southeasterly line of Lot 16, a distance of 407.2
feet; thence N. 48° 12' E. a distance of 30.34 feet; thence
N. 49° 31' W. a distance of 607.8 feet to the Point of Curvature
of a curve concave to the East and having a radius of 1175 feet;
thence along the arc of said curve a distance of 33.41 feet; thence
N. 580 45' E. a distance of 162.9 feet; thence N. 31° 15' W. a
distance of 70 feet; thence N. 58° 45' E. a distance of 12.67
feet; thence N. 25° Ol' 36" W. a distance of 81 feet to the Point

are hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, Florida,
with the same force and effect as though the same had originally been
incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof.
Section 2. That the lands described in Section 1. of this
Ordinance are hereby zoned R-lA Single Family Dwelling classification,
and the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta, being Ordinance
No. 211 as amended, and the zoning map hereunder, be, and the same are
hereby amended with regard to the above described properties.
Section 3. That said lands shall be subject to all of the
Ordinances, regulations and codes of the Village of Tequesta.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and. ap;~rovai as provided by law.
The foregoing Ordinance was offered by Councilmember Stephen R. HugglriS
who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by
Councilmember Joseph D. Yoder, Jx~.ana upon being put to a vote, the
vote was as follows:
