ORDINANCE NO. 1.69
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA.
WHEREAS, sub-section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V of
the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council
the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of
the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition
of the owner or owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, WALTER F. LATHROP <znd JANET M. LATHROP, the owners
of certain parcel of land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida,
has filed a petition with the Village Council requesting that the
land described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the
Village of Tequesta;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. That the parcel of land, owned by the said
WALTER F. LATHROP :end JANET M. LATHROP, being as follows:
A parcel of land, part of Government Lot 6,
Section 25, Township 40 South, Range 42 East,
and part of Government Lot 3, Section 36,
Township 40 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach
County, Florida, as in O.R.B. 1286, page 1058,
being Lot 10, Block D, Section 1, Jupiter
Manors, according to the ?plat thereof on file
in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida,
in Plat Book 12, panes 35 to 38 inclusive.
is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta,
and the same shall be and become a .part of the Village of Tequesta,
with the same force and effect as though the same had been ori-
ginally incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof.

'Section 2. That said .parcel of land shall be subject to
all of the ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village.

PETITION
To: The Honorable Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida:
tide, the undersigned, being the owners of the following described
parcel of lands situate, lying and being in Palm Beach County, Florida:
A pa.rcel_ of land part of Government Lot 6, Section 25, Township
40 South, Range 42 East and part of Government Lot 3, Section 36,
Township 40 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach County, Florida,
as in OR 1286, Page 1058, being Lot 10, Block "D", Section One,
Jupiter Manors, according to the plat thereof on file in the
office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach
County, Florida, in Palt Book 12, Pages 35 to 38 inclusive;
hereby petition the Village Council. to annex such lands to the territorial
limits of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, and consent to the immediate
adoption of all ordinances in connection therewith.
