M�ETING MINUTES
August 15, 2013
1. CALL 3'O ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The Village of Tequesta Planning & Zoning Advisory Board held a regularly scheduled
meeting at the Tequesta Vi{{age Hall, 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida, on
Thursday, August 15, 2013. The meeting was called to order at 5:29 p.m. A roll call
was taken by Assistant Community Development Director Joanne Burnsed, who noted
the following were present: Chair James Hackett, Vice Chair Michael Schmidt, Board
Member Elizabeth Schauer, Board Member Ste��en Eagen, and Board Member Janet
Strand. Also present were Alternate Ashley Warren, Community Development Director
Nilsa Zacarias and Village Attorney Keith Davis. Alternate Sebastian Loaiza arrived at
5:39 p.m.
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION
Board Member Schauer moved to approve the agenda as submitted. Vice Chair
Schmidt seconded the motion, which carried by unarrimous 5-0 vote.

The applicant, Dr. Joi Sutton, expiained she wanted a little splash of cfllor so people
would notice her business. The posts would remain brown, and the other side would be
beige. She felt the coral color would complement the other bold colors across the
street. The members of the Board discussed their color preferences. Vilrage Attorney
Davis read from the Code regarding color. Chair Hackett indicated the Juicy Passion
color was th� problem. A suggestion was made to paint jusf the diagonal boards.
Discussion ensued regarding how to modify the proposed Juicy Passion color.
MOTION
Board Member Schauer moved to approve Application SPR 04-13 for Tequesta Vet
Clinic as modified to recommend a color application to the diagonal boarding fa�ade
with a lighter color than Juicy Passion with more earth tones, to have final approval by
Community Deve%pment Director Zacarias; the trim is fo be !eft as is; the stone is to be
painted whife. Board Member Eagen seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous
5-0 vote.
4. SPR 05-13
Appiication of Tequesta Gardens Condominium Associatior� to modify the exterior
b�ilding colar by changing the accent trim color on all buildings. The Association
address is 10 Westwood Avenue, Tequesta.

Direcfior Zacarias commented on the applica�ion.
