HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_158_11/25/1969~~* f ~ ORDINANCE N0. 158 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 43, BEING THE OFFICIAL ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, TO CREATE AN ADDITIONAL DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS C-3, AND TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE USE OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN SAID DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the official Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta, being Ordinance No. 43, may be amended from time to time on its own motion or on petition after public hearing by the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta; and WHEREAS, upon motion of the Village Council, a public hearing was duly held on November 25, 1969 for the purpose of considering and acting upon an additional classification of zoned areas to permit the construction of television antenna for commu- nity antenna television service and other appurtenant uses; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That Section 3 of the official Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta be, and the same is hereby, amended to include the 7th district designated as follows: C-3 - Community Television Antenna and appurtenant uses. Section 2: The construction of improvements or structures in said district C-3 shall be governed by the following: A. USES PERMITTED Within any C-3 district, the following uses will be permitted: 1. Any uses permitted in C-2 district. 2. Community antenna television and other type of antenna used in the broadcasting industry. 3. Buildings and improvements appurtenant to the aforementioned uses. ~' ~ • B. BUILDING HEIGHT REGULATIONS 1. With the exception of television antenna, the height shall not exceed that allowable in C-2 district. 2. The height of antenna shall be as limited by the rules and regulations of governmental agencies; provided, however, the height shall not exceed 400 feet. Section 3: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby, repealed. Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval as provided by law. PASSED AND ADOPTED ON `S'T READING this r tt day of ~ ~~-~.:4~~- A.D., 1969.
