HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_156_10/31/1969t • ORDINANCE N0. 156 ~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 75 TO DEFINE FILLING STATIONS. WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 75, duly adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, on second reading on December 10, 1963, did limit the location of filling stations within the Village of Tequesta, Florida; and WHEREAS, a question has been raised as to the definition of the term "filling stations°', and the Village Council deems it to the best interests of the Village to pronounce such definition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 75 of the Village of Tequesta, Florida be, and the same is hereby, amended by the addition of the following section, to wit: "Section 3. That the term "filling station" is defined to be the operation of any business involved, in servicing motor vehicles on the premises, in the sale of gasoline, oil, or other petroleum products for consumption or use by motor vehicles and the sale of tires, accessories, batteries and services to motor vehicles, usually sold in automobile service stations, gasoline and oil filling stations.10 Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereb~, repealed. Section 3.
