HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_153_09/16/1969 ORDINANCE N0. 153 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA. WHEREAS, sub-section (20) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V, of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof; and WHEREAS, WILLARD C. WHEELER, JR., as Trustee, the owner of a certain parcel of land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, has filed a petition with the Village Council requesting that the land described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. That the parcel of land hereinabove mentioned, being as follows: Lot 13, Block D, JUPITER MANORS, SECTION ONE, a subdivision of Palm Beach County, Florida, according to the Plat thereof on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, in Plat Book 12, page 38. is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, with the same force and effect as though the same had been origin- ally incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof.
