AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA,
WHEREAS, sub-section (20) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V, of
the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council
the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of
the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition
of the owner or owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, LOWELL E. JARRETT and CAROLE J. JARRETT, the owners
of a certain parcel of land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida,
have filed a petition with the Village Council requesting that the
land described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the
Village of Tequesta;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. That the parcel of land hereinabove mentioned,
being as follows:
A parcel of land in Government Lot 3, Section 36, Township
40 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at an iron pipe near the shore of Jupiter River,
Northwest Fork, (sometimes called Loxahatchee River) and
in the Southeasterly boundary of Lot 16, Block C, Jupiter
Manors, Section One, Sheet 4, according to the plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 12, Page 38, Public Records of Palm
Beach County, Florida; thence North 45°34' East, (this bear-
ing assumed and all other contained herein are relative
thereto) along the Southeasterly line of said Lot 16, a
distance of 407.2 feet to an iron pipe; thence North 48°12'
East, a distance of 30.34 feet to a point; thence North
49°31' West, a distance of 607.8 feet to the beginning of
a curve concave to the East and having a radius of 1175
feet; thence Northwesterly along the arc of said curve, a
distance of 136.38 feet to a point of compound curvature;
thence continue Northerly along the arc of a curve concave
to the East, and having a radius of 347.64 feet a distance
of 228.98 feet; thence North 78°10' East a distance of 25.20
feet to a point in the Westerly line of Lot 9, Block D of
said plat of Jupiter Manors, Section One, Sheet 4, said point

being also the Point of Beginning; thence continue North
78°10' East a distance of 357.3 feet, more or less to the
waters of the Loxahatchee River; thence Northerly along
the said waters of the Loxahatchee River to the North line
of said Lot 9, Block D; thence Westerly along the said
North line of Lot 9 a distance of 348 feet, more or less,
to the Northwest corner of said Lot 9; thence Southwesterly
along the said West line of Lot 9 a distance of 39.31 feet
to the beginning of a curve in the said West line of Lot 9;
thence Southerly along the arc of said curve concave to the
East and having a radius of 333.1 feet a distance of 103.44
feet to the Point of Beginning.
is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta,
with the same force and effect as though the same had been originally
incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof.
Section 2. That said land shall be subject to all of the
ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village.

PETITION
To: The Honorable Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida.
We the undersigned, being the owners of the following described
parcel of land situate, lying and being in Palm Beach County, Florida,
more fully described as follows:
A parcel of land in Government Lot 3, Section 36, Township 40
South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more parti-
cula rly described as follows:
Commencing at an iron pipe near the shore of Jupiter River,

hereby petition the Village Council to annex such lands to the territorial
limits of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, and consent to the immediate
adoption of all ordinances in connection therewith.
