After researching technologies, attending demonstrations with staff, and obtaining pricing I will be recommending we proceed with the purchase of the Citizenserve Hosted Software Solution. This software incorporates a comprehensive feature set with a very attractive pricing model. As the first years cost is less than $5,000 we do not technically require additional quotes, however I felt it was important due to the nature of this project. I have included quotes from 3 additional vendors for comparison. It should be noted that Citizenserve does not bind us into a usage contract and we may cancel at any time with notice. I also wanted to stress that as we move towards the use of additionai "Cloud" based systems, we will be putting additional pressure on our existing internet circuit. Our connection to the internet will also become more and more vital to our business process as it will be utilized for production computing as opposed to simply surfing or background processes. It is my recommendation that we immediately seek to increase the capacity of our existing circuit while also bringing in a second provider and circuit for failover in case of an outage.
