HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_124_10/11/1966~~_ ~ 1 ., ORDINANCE N0. 124 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TERRITORIAL LIi~IITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUE STA WHEREAS, sub-section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V of the Charter of the Vi11ae of Tequesta grants the Village Council the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof; and WHEREAS, JOHN P. RODERICK and KATHERINE M, RODERICK, his wife, the owners of certain land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, have filed a petition with the Village Council request- ing that the land described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OP,DAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH CGUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. That the parcel of land hereinabove mentioned, bein^, as follows : The South 130 feet of the North 26U feet of the East 317.5 feet of the West 635 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, less the North 130.0 feet of the South 260.0 feet of the North 390.0 feet of the West 79.37 feet of the East 317.50 feet of the West 035.0 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 40 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach County, Florida. is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, and the same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta, with the same force and effect as though the same had been ori- ginally incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof. ~'`, 1 M ~ Section 2.
