HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_30-13_10/10/2013 RESOLUTION NO. 30-13 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA APPROVING THE CONTINUED USE OF THE CITIZENSERVE LAND MANAGEMENT SUITE; AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SAME ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES. Whereas, the Village Council desires to enhance the electronic capabilities of the Code Enforcement, Permitting and Zoning, and Building Inspections departments Whereas, the Citizenserve product was chosen as the most applicable application for The Village of Tequesta Whereas, the Citizenserve product is a subscription service Whereas, the Citizenserve product was offered to The Village of Tequesta without any long term contracts Whereas, the Village of Tequesta has already begun the setup process with Citizenserve Whereas, the Citizenserve product has already been budgeted for the 2013/14 budget year Whereas, The Village of Tequesta Code Enforcement, Planning and Zoning, and Building Inspections departments request to continue the setup process, go live and continue subscription service with Citizenserve indefinitely NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approve the continued subscription to the Citizenserve land management software attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference as a part of this Resolution is hereby approved and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is authorized to execute the same on behalf of the Village of Tequesta. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage. The foregoing Resolution was offered by Vice -Mayor Arena who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Council Member Okun and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: For Adoption Against Adoption Mayor Abby Brennan X Vice -Mayor Vince Arena X Council Member Steve Okun X Council Member Tom Paterno X Council Member Frank D'Ambra Absent The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 10 day of October 2013.
