Couao, Jr., �Ilage Manager FROM: Gary Preston, Director of Public Works � DATE: September 24, 2003 SUBJEC'i': Village Council Agenda ttem #or October 9, 2003; Consideration of a One Year Contract Extension for Lawn and Landscape Maintenance for Area "B" to Terracon Services, Inc., in the Amount of $66,549 Having a FY 2004 Budget Aflocation of $66,544 In 199$, fihe Vil{age received bids for Lawn and Landscape Maintenance for Area "B" which include$ �Ilage properties and certain right-of-way areas west of Old Dixie Highway. The contract allowed for successive one-year renewals based upon the Consumer Price Index (CPI) which was i.5% for fihe past twelve months. Terracon Senrices, Inc. was the original low bidder for Area "B" and fihe firm has agreed to a one-year extension based upon the terms of the contract. I have reviewed the contractual serviees provided by Terracon Senrices and woul�! recommend the Village Council award this contract in the amount of $66,549. The contract period runs from C?ctober 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004.
