Attachment to Application For Variance
The following facts respond specifically to the six criteria required under the
section titled "Justification for Variance"
1. A Perimeter fence would allow the residents to have more privacy and
would allow them to feel some sense of security within the project. A
requirement, which most residents look for.
2. Although it is our request to allow for this variance, it is ultimately the
residents who will be occupying our project, that would not petition this;
because a perimeter fence will keep the property safe while increasing it's
value. Aesthetically, it will give the project a quality appearance.
3. The granting of the variance will not confer any special privilege that is
denied by this ordinance to other lands, buildings, or structures in the
same zoning distrit.
4. The perimeter fence will provide a sense security for the residents while
also enhancing the beauty of the landscaping. The perimeter fence will be
a typical 5' aluminum 3 /a" picket fence with 6' columns around the
perimeter of our property.
5. We believe that the granting of the variance will surround the community
with a more private and protected environment.
6. The granting of the variance will indeed be in harmony with the general
intent and purpase of the ordinance and will not at a!I be injurious to the
area or otherwise detrimental to the public welfare.
