You responded by saying that the owner was oniy obligated to pay for the tesfing associated with specification seCtion 02200 Earthworfc. While there is another specification sec:tion 02201 for °Earthwork Buildings', the iwo secfions are almost identical in every way. In fact, section 02200 makes several references to building related wprk (Refer to paragraphs 1.1.A, 3.2.A.5, 3.3.A.1 and 3.5.C.1 as examples). We estimate that all tesfing for the project will run in the neighborhood of $4,000 to $5,000. Given the specification language and the fact that neither the owner nor contractor allowed for the cost o# testing, we respectFully request that a change order be approved in the �amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Doltars iS1 500 00) (or approximately one third of the estimated cost).
