Boardmember Maitland called the Board•s attention to an
article in the paper pertaiainq to Juno Beach lininq Ocean
Drive with palm trees, and that they had received money from
the Department of Transportation. Mr. Preston said the
Village has put ebout $55,000 into the II.S. One project. When
the DOT does the work, they would be payi.nq for all of that.
The Village should receive a large amount of money to do the
.irrigation, treee, sod, etc.
Mr. Preston said the Village replaced the one dead royal palm
on Tequesta Drive near Venus Avenue. He said the irrigation

Boardmember Cobea asked about the sidewa].k again. Mr. Preston
said that hie concern was that if a aidewalk is installed on
Tequesta Drive, it cant just end at the park, forci.ng people .
to go into the street. He said that patting the sidewalk.in
