Chairwoman Cook eaid the Board did not like the lighthouse
poles and that it would not get approval. Mr. Ladd said
Ferrin may plant asparagus fern in the planer at the base of
the sign, however, therewill be no irrigation installed at
this time, and he reminded the Board that in less than a year
from now, Felhaber will have to addrees the new landscape
code. More diecusgion took place about colore for the sfgn ,
removinq the liqhthouees from the tops of the poles, and using
the same indian aa the Villaqe. Vice Chairmau Strahan
suggested tbat Mr. Ladd call Ferrin and tell them that until
the overall color scheme of the Plaza i8 presented, the Soard
would like the poles to be beiqe, or some other neutral color,
and that the asparagus fern is okay for the planter.
Chairwoman Cook suqqested that on the west side of the.
railroad, it just be grass aad use the money saved to put ia
.more plants oa the east side of the tracks. Boardmember

catch the eye, perhaps nothiaq need be done to the est side.
Not all members we=e ia agreement with th.is suggestion. Some
discussion took place regardinq the cost of the plants and
