I want to vote for regulat- ing such sales, however. I agree with the suggestion of 5 to 7 days' advance written notice to adjacent property owners, and I also agree with the 5 to 7 days' ad- vance notice to the Ho�eowners' Assn. I would suggest the limitation of the days of the sales: 2 to 3 days maxi�um. � I agree there should be a limitation to the garage sales allawed per property per year. Ti�hy should they have more tl�an one? I would vote for a permit fee for garage sales - whateves amount wauld cover the village's total cost. . I appreciate your asking me for mq opinion. j ! It is noted that several Homeowners Associations have suggested that the sales be more closely regulated. I am within the Tequesta Country Club Association which frowns on ALL garage saies. I find this unacceptable. It is beyond my conception to expect everyone to toss out or give to a thrift shop. Money is important to , everyone. If associations don't Want a lot of people and cars all the time, a lot of unnecessary paper vork and aggravation could be alleviated. Simply allow the area 1 or 2 days per year vhen anyone vho vanted could seil that which tihey no longer wanted. It vould be only those days when traffic and peopie. vould be a problem.
