Home My WebLink AboutResolution_07-14_02/13/2014 RESOLUTION NO. 7 -14 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ARCADIS G &M IN THE AMOUNT OF $76,500.00 FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE TEQUESTA DRIVE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND INCREASING THE FISCAL YEAR 2013/2014 BUDGET IN THE WATER UTILITY FUND #401 BY APPROPRIATING FUND BALANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $76,500.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the engineer understands that this contract shall cover the design, permitting and bidding assistance for the replacement of the existing 12 -inch cement asbestos pipe within the Tequesta Drive right of way; WHEREAS, the cost of this contract is not funded in the current FY2014 budget and $76,500.00 needs to be appropriated in the Water Utility Fund #401 to fund this project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Resolution No. 7 -14 is hereby approved awarding a contract to Arcadis G &M in the amount of $76,500.00 for engineering services associated with the Tequesta Drive water main replacement project and increasing the Fiscal Year 2013/2014 Budget in the Water Utility Fund #401 by appropriating fund balance in the amount of $76,500.00; Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
