HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice_Local Planning Agency_03/20/2014 q � �� - �3 I Y` PUBLIC NOTICE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA PLANNING AND ZONING ADVISORY BOARD MEETING LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY MEETING The Planning and Zoning Advisory Board of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Hall located at the Village Council Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida on March 20, 2014, at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to act upon the following development application(s): SPM 04-14: Application of DMT Commons to modify the exterior building color. The address of the proposed application is 385 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta. SPM OS-14: Application of Mary, Mother of the Light Maronite Catholic Church to modify the exterior building colors and install a storage shed. The address of the proposed application is 46 Willow Road, Tequesta. Immediately following the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board Public Hearing, the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board sitting as the Local Planning Agency of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Council Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469, continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to consider and make recommendations to the Village Council regarding the following proposed ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. 7-14 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 14. BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS. ARTICLE II. BUILDINGS. BY CREATING AN ENTIRELY NEW SEC. 14-34. TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE RESIDENTIAL ADOPTED. TO ADOPT LOCAL TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO THE FBC, RESIDENTIAL, THAT PROVIDE NEW FREEBOARD REQUIREMENTS MORE STRINGENT THAN THE BUILDING CODE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS; AND CHAPTER 78. ZONING ARTICLE XII. FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION, SEC. 78-802, BY CHANGING THE DEFAULT DEPTH TO 3 FEET ABOVE GRADE, EFFECTiVELY PROVIDING AN ADDED +1 FT. OF FREEBOARD PROTECTION, EVEN IN APPROXIMATE ZONE A; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER SECTION AND SUB-SECTION OF CHAPTERS 14 AND 78. SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. Related documents are available for inspection and copying in the office of the Village Clerk at the Village Hall, Monday through Friday during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Public Hearings may be continued from time to time, as necessary. All interested persons are encouraged to come to the Public Hearings and be heard. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board or the Local Planning Agency with respect to any matter considered at such meetings or hearings, he or she will need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record should include the testimony and evidence from which the appeal is to be based.
