Snbject: Country Club Drive Marker
Please find attached, a letter from Mr. Neal Vander Waa.l, President, Tequesta Country Club
Community Association, requesting Village assistance in removing a marker on Country Club

the removnl f tho lnt rcnd mnrkcr i.oatca ju;t :outh of thc T`lorth cntiy mnrkcrs on (;ount G3ub Drive.
1 his macker r.►r "tmb.tune " as wc have cxiled them, was cme of the old markers oriinally put it by thc
ievelnper cf'fequesta Country Club. Since the Vllagc pbraded lhe area on Country Gtub, the signage, which
had bccn on the marker hs bee mved to the new entry gates, so the marker n lcinger serves arty purpse_ At
tie present time it is store of an eyesnre, and becausc of its ciose proximity ta the road itselE; could pasc a
haard.
Sonc oti our mernbers recernly attempted tp removc the marker. We discoverecl that it is made af concrete,
which seems to havc been pured in piace. It is xtremely solid and heavy, ennuh so that several old guys
pushin and puUin could not even bude it_
We watild like tc reyuest the Villags assistance to remove the marker with the Vllae backhoe. Ati we nced is
fur the villa;r.. to rcmove the marker, TCCCA will take ca.re of Gleaning up after the marke is removeci. Tt seens
that it sl,nuld be a tairly simplc operation, provided the prpper c.uipment was made available.
Pleae let mc know if ycu have any questions or concerns. lf yoa wish, I would be happy to mt with you to
