SUBjECT: Village Priorities
Pursuant to our conversation this date, I have given considerable thought to
the Village priorities and I am listing them below:
I. Funding for new Village buildings.
2. Management of new facilities, design, etc.
3. Monitoring of ongoing sewer, water and swale construction.
4. Annexation issues with PBC.
5. Village Staff: fill open positions and work with staff

6. Public Works Projects: YMCA, skateboard park, parks, etc.
7. Relationship development, concentrating on ENCON
programs, Jupiter Tequesta Juno Beach Chamber of
Commerce, Northern Patm Beaches Chamber of Commerce,
Jupiter, Martin County.
8. Grant Development.
9. Comprehensive Plan: amendments due to annexation issues
and possibly Overlay District
Please place this on the Village Council agenda for June 14, 2001, as it is a
matter of great importance for Village Council consideration and will
establish the items on which focus is needed. I recommend that a monthly
dialog be established from the Village Manager to the Village Council at the
regular meetings and that these priorities be established as the basis for the
monthly report from the Village Manager.
RESOLUTION NO. 48-00/001
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE CO'[JNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY,
FLORIDA, PRIORITIZING ADMINISTRATIVE
PRCIJECTS AND ESTABLISHING � BASIS FOR THE
MONTHLY REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE
MANAGER
WHEREAS, it is important to the Village Council to establish the items on which
focus is needed; and
VV��REAS, it is important to the Village Council to be apprised of the status of
such items; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQITESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as foliows:
Section 1. The Village Council hereby prioritizes certain administrative
projects in order beg'uuling with the most important as follows:
1. Funding for new Village buildings.
2. Management of new facilities, design, etc.
3. Monitoring of ongoing sewer, water and swale construction.
4. Anne�tion issues with Pa.lm Beach County.
5. Village Staf� fill open positions and work with staffdevelopment.
6. Public Works Projects: YMCA, skateboazd park, parks, etc.
7. Relationship development, concentrating on ENCON programs,
Jupiter Tequesta Juno Beach Chamber of Commerce, Jupiter,
Martin County.
8. Grant Development.
9. Comprehensive Plan: amendments due to annexation issues and

Section 2. The Village Mana.ger shall use the above priorities as a basis for
his monthly report.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective imznediately upon passage.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember
, who moved its adoption. The Resolution was seconded by
Councilmember , and upon being put to a vote, the
vote was as follows:
