The Viilage is a sig�natoiy to this lnferlocai A�mern a1on� with 25 other municipalities, the Palm Beach County Commissian and ti�e Palm Beach Co�tnty School Board. Spe�i�cally, the Public School F:scilities element is bein� amended by updatin� TABLE PSF-1, STAN.DARDS FOR TIERED LEVEL OF SERVICE (LOS) and TABLE PSF-2, MAXIMUM UTILIZATIQN TABLE: Standards fvr Uliiizatian of Gapacity. Althoug,li this amendrnem n�ay appear ta be minor in scope, it consxituxes a lat�e-scale annendment pursr�am to Chapter 163, F.S. {State plaru�ing !aw), and is subject to alt proced�ral and advertisin� requirements for lar�e�ale �nendrnents. This proposed amcndment was coox�iinated with the Palm Beach Coimty Planning sta�ff, the Palrn Beach Count_y School B�ard, as well as with the Flarida Depaztment of Community Affairs (DCA) who will rcview the amendrnart. The proposed amendment has also i�eex� submiited #o IPARC (Inierlocal Plant�ing and Review Committe�� for their review ar►d information. Their "Clearing�ltouse Notice of Praposed Amendmcnt" is submitted as �art of ttuis package for your infornawtion.. Local �overn�veents are lirnited to two (2) lar�e-scale arnendmc�ts per caiendar year. T'he Village has rnade onc (1) larg�e-scale a�ndtnent to its Comptehensive Plan in 2002. This p�oposc;dd amendment is agendaed for the September l2, 2E)02 Vill�t�e Council meetin�. At this meetin� the Local Planning A�ency (LPA� will hold a public hearing and recornmend to the Council that the propos$d amexximent be transmitted to DCA and other review a�exic�ies for their review an@ c�mmem. This wili �rovide ad�eiat:e time for the Village to `°adopt" this amendmenf �ior to the end of calendar year 2002.
