The Code Enforcement Board of the Village of Tequesta held a regularly scheduied meeting at the Village Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida, on Tuesday, July 6, 1993. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Brienza. A roll call was taken by Fran Bitters, the Recording Secretary. Boardmembers present were: Chairman Brienza, Vice-Chairman William Treacy, Tim Goldsbury, Mitchell Miller, and William Sharpless. Also in attendance was Scott Ladd, Clerk of the Board. II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Vice-Chairman Treacy moved that the Agenda be approved as submitted. Boardmember Miller seconded the motion. The vote on the motion was: Paul Brienza - for william Treacy - for Mitch Miller - for Ailliam Sharpless - for Tim Goldsbury - for the motion was therefore passed and adopted and the Aqenda was approved as submitted. III. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINIITES (May 4, 1993) Page 2, last paragraph, first sentence restated as follows: ��Boardmember Sharpless announced he would abstain from votinq on Case No. 93-04 for the followinq reasons: 1) Mr. Laduca had been a frequent subject of discussion at the Tequesta Country Club Community Association Board (of which Mr. shaxpless is a member) Meetings; 2) the Association Appearance Committee worked with the Villaqe Code Enforcement Officer tryinq to ok�tain enforcement on some of Mr. Laduca�s violations.�� Recycled Paper Code Enforcement Board Meetinq Minutes July 6, 1993 Paqe 2 ------------------------------- Vice-Chairman Treacy moved to approve the May 4, 1993 Code Enforcement Board Meeting Minutes as amended. Boardmember Sharpless seconded the motion. The vote on the motion was: Paul Brienza - for William Treacy - for Mitch Miller - for William 8harpless - for Tim Goldsbury - for the motion was therefore passed and adopted and the Minutes were approved as amended. IV. SWEARING IN OF CODL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER Chairman Brienza swore in Scott Ladd, Clerk of the Board, as Acting Code Enforcement Officer. V. PRESENTATION OF NEW CASBS TO 8ET FOR BEARING Scott Ladd, as Acting Code Enforcement Officer, read the new cases to be set for Hearing and recommended that they be heard on August 3, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. 1. Case No. 93-05: Jo Collins, Vidcom Corporation, for a violation at 222 II.S. One, South, Tequesta. Violation of Appendis A, Zoninq, Section B(0), Villaqe Code of Ordinances. 2. Case No. 93-06: Timothy Plant & Peqqy Sundermeyer, 93 Hickory 8ill Road, Tequesta. Violation of Appendiu A, Zoninq, Section B(E)(5), villaqe Code of ordinances. 3. Case No. 93-07: Gerald J. & Gregory J. Maltese, 154 Chapel Lane, Tequesta. Violation of Chapter l0, Article II, 8ealth and Sanitation, Seation 10-18(e), Villaqe Code of Ordinances. 4. Case No. 93-08: James H. & Rimberly 8. Ryan, 20 Yacht Club Place, Tequesta. violation of Appendix A, Zoninq, Bection u(E)(5) villaqe Code of ordinances. Violation of Appendi$ A, Zoninq, 8ection 8 ($)(5), villaqe code of ordinances. 6. Case No. 93-10: Rita G. Walters, 370 Maple Avenue, Tequesta. violation of Chapter 6, Article v, Standard Housinq Code, section 1o3.2.i, villaqe Code of Ordinances. Vice-Chairman Treacy moved that Case Nos. 93-05 through 93- 10 be set for Hearing for August 3, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. Boardmember Goldsbury seconded the motion. The vote on the motion was: Paul Brienza - gor William Treacy - for Mitch Miller - for William Sharpless - for Tim GOldsbury - �pr the motion was therefore passed and adopted. VII. ANY OTHER MATTERS A. Scott Ladd noted that four Boardmembers whose terms would soon be expiring need to consider whether they wish to be re-appointed. Those members are: Gordon Ritter Mitch Miller Jeffrey Vorpagel Thomas Mortati B. Vice Chairman Treacy asked that all Code Enforcement Board members receive a copy of the document reporting on all fines for Code violations imposed and collected by the Village of Tequesta. • , � Code 8nforcement Board Meetinq Minutes July 6, 1993 Paqe 4 ------------------------------- VIII. ADJOIIRNMENT Boardmember Sharpless moved that the meeting be adjourned. Boardmember Miller seconded the motion. The vote on the motion was: Paul Brienaa - for William Treacy - for Mitch Miller - for William Sharpless - for Tim Goldsbury - for the motion was therefore passed and adopted and the meetinq was adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
