MEETING MINUTES
June 19, 2014
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The Village of Tequesta Planning & Zoning Advisory Board held a regularly scheduled
meeting at the Tequesta Village Hall, 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida, on
Thursday, June 19, 2014. The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. A roll call was
taken by Nilsa Zacaris, who noted the following were present: Chair Janet Strand,
Board Member Elizabeth Schauer, Board Member Steven Eagen, and Alternate Ashley
Warren. Also present was Village Attorney Keith Davis and Planning and Zoning
Director Nilsa Zacarias.
APPROVALOFAGENDA
MOTION
Board Member Schauer moved to approve the agenda as submitted. Board Member
Eagen seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous 4-0 vote.
1. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: May 15, 2014
MOTION
Board Member Eagen moved to approve the minutes of the May 15, 2014 meeting as
submitted. Board Member Sc,hauer seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous
4-0 vote.
SWEARING IN OF WITNESSES
One person was sworn in by Village Attorney Keith Davis.
EX PARTE COMMUNICATIOP�S
No exparte communication was reported.
2. SPM 10-14: Application from Brian Hetrick, as agent for owner of Tequesta
Steakhouse, for a site plan modification to install an awning in the outdoor
courtyard. The address off the proposed application is 157 U.S. One North,
Tequesta.
MOTION
Board Member Schauer made a motion to approve Application SPM 10-14; seconded
by Board Member Warren. Motion carried by unanimous 4-0 vote.

PUBLIC COMMENT
There were no comments from the public.
BOARD COMMENT
Board Member Schauer requested the code be updated for similar minor commercial
applications to be done administratively.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion by Board
Member Warren, seconded by Vice Chair Schauer and carried by unanimous 4-0 vote,
the meeting was adjourned at 5:38 p.m.
