VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
PLANNING �►ND ZONING ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY MEETING
The Planning and Zoning Advisory Board of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Hall
located at the Villa�e Counci] Chambers ]ocated at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Plorida on July 17, 2014, at 5:30 p.m., or
as soon thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to act upon the followin�
development application(s):
SPM 11-14: Tequesta Cay Condominium Association application for a site plan modification to reconfigure traffic
circulation throughout the development on internal roads from two-way traffic to one-way traffic and related
signage. The address of the proposed application is 156 Villa�e Boulevard, Tequesta.
Immediately following the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board Public I-Iearin�, the Plannin� and Zonin� Advisory Board
sittin� as the Local Plannin� Agency of ihe Villa�e of Tequesta witl conduct a Public Hearin� in the Village Council
Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469, continuin� from time to time and place to place as
necessary to consider and make recommenda.tions to the V illage Council re�arding the following proposed ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 78. ZONING. AT ART[CLE I. IN GENERAL. BY UPDATING AND
REVISING THE LIST OF DEFINITIONS FOR TERMS CONTAINED IN THE VILLAGE'S ZONING
ORDINANCE; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER SECTION AND SUB-SECTION OF
CHAPTER 78. ZONING. SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY
ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AUTHORITY
TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

DIVISION 2. SCHEDULE OF USE REGULATIONS. BY PROVIDING FOR INTERNAL
CONSISTENCY, UPDATING CERTAIN TERMINOLOGY CONSISTENT WITH STATE LAW,
REQUIRING THE USE OF EMERGENCY BACKUP GENERATORS FOR CERTAIN GASOLINE
SERV[CE STATIONS AND CONVENIENCE STORES, PROVIDING FOR ADULT
ENTERTAINMENT AS A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE IN THE C-3 ZONING DISTRICT, AND
INCREASING THE SQUARE FOOTAGE SIZE FOR CERTAIN PERMITTED USES IN
COMMERCIAL AND MIXED USE ZONES; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER
SECTION AND SUB-SECTION OF CHAPTER 78. ZONING. SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND
EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER

Related documents are available for inspection and copying in the office of the Villa�e Clerk at the Village Hall, Monday
through Friday during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Public Hearings may be continued from time to
time, as necessary. All interested persons are encouraged to come to the Public Hearin�s and be heard.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Plannin� and Zoning Advisory Board or the Local Plannin� Agency
with respect to any matter considered at such meetings or hearings, he or she will need to insure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made, which recard should include the testimony and evidence from which the appeal is to be based. The
Village of Tequesta does not provide such a recard.
