Re: Heritage Oaks Subdivision - Request for Water Service Dear Mayor Campbell and Councilmen: In accordance with your instructions, we have made a study of the feasibilit}r of the Village providing water to the Heritage Oaks Subdivi. s ion. The subdivision is bounded on the north by Jonathan Dickinson State Park, on the east by the North Fork of the Loxahatchee River a.nd o.n th.e sout by Turtle Creek. The subdivision con, sists of 194 single fami.y lots, plus a small parcEl of land to be used for recreational purposes. The l.os are large, averaging about 19, 000 square feet in area. The proposed development was discussed with Mr. L. E. Lindahl, the developer's engineer. Mr. Lindahl stated that the requested ' water supply was for domestic use only and that a separate supply of water for lawn ixrigation was to be obtained within the develop- / r , ment. Mr. Linda.hl estimates that the water demand will not exceed / 88, 200 gallons per day. His estinate is reasonable. The estirnated building construction rate is 40 houses per year. ; r, GEE & JENS011 EGIEERS-ARCHITECfS-PLA!ER5,1\C. --- . This can be done without jepordizing the exi.sting and potentia.J. custoan.ers within the existing service area. Water for irrigation purposes can not be provided. If the Cauncil decides to pxovide water tio Heritage Oaks, it is our recommendation that it be done wi.th the following constraints: 1. The water distribution systrn be deeded to the Vill.age a- gether with the necessary easern.ents upon completion of constxuction. . 2. That plans and specifications be approved by the Vil.lage Water Superintendent and tke Village Engineer prior to construcion. 3.
