RESOLUTION NO. 21-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE REFUSE, RECYCLING
AND YARD WASTE COLLECTION RATES FOR F/Y/E SEPTEMBER 30, 2015
AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO PROCEED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE VILLAGE'S ADOPTED PROCEDURES; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
Whereas, the Village Council approves the use of fund balance in Refuse and
Recycling Fund #402 to subsidize the increase in the current year's rates charged by
Waste Management and;
Whereas, the F/Y/E 9/30/2015 rates will be $153.55 the same as in the prior year
and;
Whereas, the refuse, recycling and yard waste rates are to be adopted by
resolution and transmitted to the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser as part of a
uniform method of assessment of these rates by the Village of Tequesta
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 The Village Council hereby adopts the following rates to be effective
October 1, 2014 for F/Y/E 9/30/2015 and authorizes the Village Manager to proceed on
behalf of the Village in order to provide for their uniform assessment:
• Total Single-Family Annual Rate for all collection services
(refuse/recycling/yard Waste) _ $153.55
• Total Multi-Family Annual Rate for all collection services (refuse/recycling/yard
waste) _ $153.55
Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
