A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE
FINAL MILLAGE RATE FOR LEVYING OF AD VALOREM TAXES FOR
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA
FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING ON OCTOBER 1, 2014 AND
ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2014; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta, Palm Beach County, Florida, on September 18,
2014, adopted Fiscal Year Final Millage Rates following a public hearing as required by Florida
Statute 200.065; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta of Palm Beach County, Florida held a public hearing
as required by Florida Statute 200.065; and
WHEREAS, the gross taxable value for operating purposes not exempt from taxation
within Palm Beach County has been certified by the County Property Appraiser to the Village
of Tequesta as $864,180,427; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 200, Florida Statutes, the Village of
Tequesta has the power to levy ad valorem taxes against real property and tangible personal
property in accordance with state law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1 : The operating millage rate for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2014 and
ending September 30, 2015 is 6.2920 mills which is above the rolled -back rate of 5.7387 by
9.64 %..
Section 2: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the
Village Council.
The foregoing Resolution was offered by Council Member D'Ambra who moved its adoption.
The motion was seconded by Council Member Okun and upon being put to a vote, the vote was
as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 18 day of September
2014.
