HomeMy WebLinkAboutDocumentation_Local Planning Agency_Tab 01_12/18/2014 Planning & Zoning Advisory Board Sitting as the Local Planning Agency MEETING MINUTES November 20, 2014 CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL The Village of Tequesta Planning & Zoning Advisory Board Sitting as the Local Planning Agency held a regularly scheduled meeting at the Tequesta Village Hall, 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida, on Thursday, November 20, 2014. The meeting was called to order at 5:36 p.m. A roll call was taken by Denise Pennell, who noted the following were present: Chair Janet Strand, Board Member Elizabeth Schauer, and Board Member Steven Eagen. Also present were Village Attorney Keith Davis and Community Development Director Nilsa Zacarias. APPROVAL OF AGENDA MOTION . Board Member Eagen moved to approve the agenda as submitted. Board Member Schauer seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous 3-0 vote. 1. APPROVAL OF PRE - VIOUS - MEETING MINUTES: - October-16,-2014- --- MOTION Board Member Eagen moved to approve the minutes of the October 96, 2014 meeting as submitted. Board Member Schauer seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous 3-0 vote. 2. ORDINANCE NO. 21-14: AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A SMALL SCALE AMENDMENT TO ITS COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANDATES SET FORTH IN SECTION 163.3187, ET SEQ., FLORIDA STATUTES, PURSUANT TO A VILLAGE INITIATED AMENDMENT NO. LUPA 1-14 WHICH PROVIDES FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP, DESIGNATING ONE POINT FIVE THREE ONE SIX (1.5316) ACRES MORE OR LESS OF LAND RECENTLY ANNEXED INTO THE VILLAGE LOCATED AT 3774, 3764 AND 3754 COUNTY LINE ROAD, AS "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL"; PROVIDING FOR COMPLIANCE WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 163, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. Planning & Zoning Advisory Board Sitting as Local Planning Agency MEETING MINUTES November 20, 2014 ', Attorney Davis described the ordinance and advised this ordinance was part of the comprehensive plan amendment process. Nilsa Zacarias commented the developer planned to build townhomes on the property but to date the Village has not received a ; site plan review application. I MOTION Board Member Schauer made a motion to approve Ordinance 21-14; seconded by � Board Member Eagen. Motion carried by unanimous 3-0 vote. � I ' PUBLIC COMMENT � I I There were no comments from the public. � BOARD COMMENT There were no Board comments.
