ORDINANCE N0. 121.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA CHANGING THE ZONE CLASSIFICA-
TION OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND FROM R-2 TO R-3.
WHEREAS, the official Zoning; Ordinance of the Village of
Tequesta, being UL~dinance Nc. 43, may be amended from time to
time on its own motion or on petition after public hearing by the
Village Council of the Village of Tequesta; and
WHEREAS, upon motion of the Village Council, a public hear-
ing was duly held on July 12, 1966 for the purpose of considering
and acting upon a request to rezone the following described parcels
of land, to wit:
That portion of the South 200 feet of Lot 196,
Jupiter Island Subdivision, (Plat Book 1, Page
80, Palm Beach County, Florida), lying between
the westerly right of way of proposed State Road
707 (as the same appears platted and recorded in
State load Plat Eook 2, Page 71, Public Records
of Palm Beach County, Florida), and the waters
of the Intracoastal C~Jaterway.
That portion of the North 130 feet of Lot 196,
and the South 70 feet of Lot 195, Jupiter Island
Subdivision (Plat Book 1, Page 80), Palm Beach
County, Florida, lying between the westerly right
of way of proposed State Load 707 (as the same
appears platted and recorded in State Road Plat
Book 2, Page 71, Public Records of Palm Beach
County, F:~orida), and the waters of the Intra-
coastal 6~Jaterway.
A11 of that portion of Lot 196 and the South 70
feet of Lat 195, Jupiter Island Subdivision (Peat
Book 1, Page 80, Palm Beach County, Florida), lying
between the westerly right of way of proposed State
Road 707 (as the same appears platted and recorded
in State F:oad Plat Book 2, :Eyage 71, Public Records
of Palm Beach County, Ii lorida) , and the waters of
the Atlantic Ocean including any land between the
East line of said Lot 196 and the South 70 feet of
said Lot 195 and the high water line of the Atlantic
Cicean and bounded on the North and South by the
easterly extension of the north and south boundaries
of the tract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE GF TEQUESTA :

Section 1. That Ordinance N~. 43 of the Village of Tequesta,
Florida be, and the same is hereby, amended to change the zoning
classification of the parcels of land hereinafter described from
R-2 to l~-3, said parcels of land being described as follows:
That portion of the South 200 feet of Lot 196,
Jupiter Island Subdivision, (Plat Book 1, Page
80, 1'a lm Peach County, Florida) lying between
the westerly right of way of proposed State I:oad
707 (as the same appears platted and recorded in
State Road Flat B~olc 2, Page 71, Public Records
of Palm Beach County, Florida), and the waters of
the Intracoastal +:~y'aterway.
Ti~at portion of the North 130 feet of Lot 196,
and the South 70 feet of Lot 195, Jupiter Island
Subdivision, (T'lat Baolc 1, Page 80) Palm Beach
County, Florida, lying between the westerly right
of way of proposed State Road 707 (as the same
appears platted and recorded in State Road Plat
Boolc Z, Wage 71, Public P.ecords of Palm Beach
County, Florida), and the waters of the Intra-
coastal Waterway.
All of that portion of Lot 196 and the South 70
feet of Lot 195, Jupiter Island Subdivision (Plat
Book 1, Rage 80, Palm Beach County, Florida), lying
between the westerly right of way of proposed State
Road 707 (as the same appears platted and recorded
in State Road Plat B~olc 2, Page 71, Public Records
of t'a1m Beach County, Florida), and the waters of
the Atlantic Ocean including any land between the
Rost line of said Lot 196 and the South 70 feet of
said Lct 195 and the high water line of the Atlantic
Ucean and bounded on the north and south by the
easterly extension of the north and south boundaries
of the tract.
Section 2. That the "O~ficial Zoning Map of the Village
of Tequesta''' be, and the same is hereby, amended to show the
aforesaid re-zoning classification.
Section 3. Teat all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately

Section 3: That the Vi11ae Clerk is hereby authorized to
do all things necessary to provide for the holding of said election,
including the expenditure of such sums of money as is reasonably
necessary in connection therewith.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY at meeting held on the 16th day of
September, 1966.

CERTIFICATE
I, Robert Harp, Clerk of the Village of Tequesta, do
hereby certify that three (3) copies of Ordinance No. 122 were
posted in three (3) conspicuous places in Berniuda Terrace on
the 17th day of September, 1966 and on the three (3) Village
Bulletin Boards.
