LqL LTi~IITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TE~UE STA G~JHEP.EAS, sub-section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof; and WHEKEA5, JENNIE LTEGLER, Executrix of the Estate of John Giegler, deceased, the owner of certain land situated in ~'alm Beach County, Florida, has filed a petition wit`tz the Village Council re- questing that the land described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, copy of said Petition being attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully and completely set forth herein; NOW, THEkEFORE, BE IT 0Pd3AINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALL-1 BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. That the parcel of land described in the Petition hereinabove mentioned and hereto attached, is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, and the same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta, and the same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta, with the same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof. The undersigned, being the executrix of the estate of JOHN ZIEGLER, deceased, owner of the following described parcel of land, respectfully requests and moves your honorable body to take action under Florida Statutes, Chapter 171. 04, to extend the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta by annexation of the said land, which is contiguous to lands already in the Village limits. The property requested to be annexed is des- cribed as follows: The Northerly 150 feet of Government Lot 4, lying East of U. S. Highway No. 1, Section 30, Township 40 South, Range 43 East, County of Palm Beach, Florida, ~~~~~ the following parcel: INCLL~ING , From the point of inters~tion of a line 150 feet north of and parallel with, when measured at right angles to, the south line of said Government Lot 4, with the center line of the right of way of State Road No. 5 (U. S. Highway No. 1), as said center line is shown on plat on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, in R oad Plat Book 2 at Page 111, run nor- therly, .along the center line of said State Road right-of-way, a distance of 1010 feet to the point of beginning, said point being also the southwest corner of the parcel of land herein described; thence easterly, on a line parallel with the south line of said Government Lot 4, a distance of 1243. 22 feet; thence northerly a distance of 30. 99 feet; thence westerly, along a line parallel with the south line of said Government Lot 4, a distance of 1233.36 feet, more or less, to a point in the center line of said right of way of State Road No. 5; thence southerly, along the said center line, a distance of 30.07 feet, more or less , to the point of beginning.
