Excavate holes for the palms in locations along Tequesta Drive remo~~ing and disposing of old stumps. Set Palms in holes with a crane and stake with 4x4" pt stakes. Add bubblers to existing irrigation .,ystem to imgate the palms. Repair any minor lawn damage with sod. Note: Traffic control to be by others- General conditions: Owner to provide unrestricted access to work areas. Site ihilities and other underground systems shall be identified by Owner. Rood Landscape assumes no responsibilities for unidentified underground systems Site shall be at final grade. No site wort: or demolilion is included in this bid. If bubblers or soakers are installed and set on a time clock at said time, our guarantee will be honored 90 days, according to the conditions stated above. 4 All plants are subject to availabilit<~ at the time of job. If material is not available, a suitable substitute approved by both the Landscape Architect and the Landscape Contractor will be used. $ We cannot assume responsibility for any "natural peril" which may prove detrimental to plant material or postpone completion of job, such as drought, water restrictions, high winds, excessive Qooding, freeze or frost, etc. 6 No fill or rough grading is included in this contract, unless so specified, A Snished grade acceptable to the Landscape ContracWr, plus or minus 2%, will be furnished by the Purchaser or his Agent. "Hand raking" only is included in this contract. Any additional grading or trash removal, including equipment work, is extra. 7 Removal of shell, road, rock or other objectionable materials and replacing wish topsoil is not included in this proposal. 8 Price includes 1 planting only. Relocation will be charged on s time and material basis. 9 Sod quantity is an estimate figure. Any payment to unions wits be paid by the Owner'Contractor Damages caused by strikes or threats to strike will be paid by the Owner~Contractor. 12 In the event that the Landscape Contractor is unable to continue due to construction delays and/or civil or natural cxcurrences, it shall be the Owners responsibility to provide proper maintenance, payment is due for all work completed to that date. The Owners responsibility begins the day a8er the Landscape Contractor has been forced to withdraw. If remobilization is required, additional costs may be incurred by the Owner/purchaser. 13 We will exercise all precautions in performing our work however, if we run into any underground utilities while performing this contract which were not previously marked by Owner or Owners Representative, repair costs will be Owners responsibility. 14 If any substantial change (20"% or more) in [his contract is necessary, ttte Landscape Contractor reserves the right io re-negotiate unit prices. 15 A}I charges unpaid for 30 days from date of service are subject to l.5% monthly service charge. Rood Landscape, Inc will utilize the tight to lien the Owners property in case ofnon-payment. Should Rood Landscape, Inc, retain the service ofan attorney to collect monies due under this contract, or to file suit to collect said sums, the Owner shall be responsible for all attomevs Cees and costs of collection incurred by Landscape Contractor. 16 On this contract, estimated at $20.590.00 deposit of S 102~ZQ payable upon acceptance. The remaining portion is due upon receipt of invoice. Progress billings are rendered on the 30th day of each calendar month. 17 Requests for any extra work or materials above those included in this contract must be submitted to us in writing by the Owner or Owners Representative. 18 Due to possible damage of root systems during land clearing, Rood Landscape, Inc. is not responsible for any trees to remain on the property.
