Additionally, she is requesting a 5% COLA increase each year. Please consider these factors: Current fee is $170 an hour Suggested Increase is a 17.6% increase over the current year Over a 5 year period the fee with a 5% COLA will be an increase of 50% The Village Attorney is paid $175 per hour. Your options are to continue with your current firm or place this service out to bid.
