In this regard, attached is data regarding holidays recognized by local municipal and county governments from the Public Employers Personnel Information Exchange (PEPIE) Benefit Survey. You will see that of the 34 public entities surveyed, the Village of Tequesta is the only entity that does not recognize Martin Luther King Day as an annual paid holiday to its employees. Pursuant to The Village of Tequesta Em�loyee Hondbook and the Collective Bargaining Agreements between the Village and the Communications Workers of America (CWA) and the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the Village recognizes annually the following I I holidays: New Year's Eve Day, New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day.
