The Special Magistrate appointed by the Village Council to hear code compliance cases
for the Village of Tequesta, in accordance with Chapter 162, Florida Statutes, has heard
testimony at the Code Compliance �g held on the 22 °a slay .of - January, 2015, -and _based _on
the evidence and testimony presented, entered an Order Reducing Fine. The following Findings
of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Order are hereby entered:
FINDINGS OF FACT,

2. The original Fine accrued to a total amount of Fifty Four Thousand Nine Hundred
Fif y Dollars- ($54,950.00). The Village also- mi cutred istr arive costs in the amount of
$724.96 from bringing this case.
3. The Respondent appeared and presented testimony seeking reduction of the fine
amount previously - assessed, and that they were working toward selling the property to -a new
resident.
4. The Village offered testimony that the property is in compliance.

It is the Order of the Village of Tequesta Special Magistrate that the request for a fine
reduction is GRANTED The fine amount of $54,950.00 shall be reduced to $3,500.00. The
Respondent shall also pay the Village's administrative costs in the amount $724.96. The reduced
fine plus administrative costs shall be paid in full no later than March 9, 2015, or the original,
full lien amount shall be reinstated.
A certified copy of this Order may be recorded in the Public Records of Palm Beach
County, Florida, and, once recorded, shall constitute a lien against the property upon which the
violation exits and upon any other real or personal property owned by the Respondent, pursuant
to Chapter 162, Florida Statutes.
