Page 1 of 2 � —� �' c� �^Y"` G � � 'x' �US A� First Presbyterian Church of Tequesta The First Presbyterian Church of Tequesta has hosted an annual Strawberry Festival since 1976. This is the church's largest fund-raiser for the year, and is well known in Palm Beach county and surrounding areas. In addition to our home-made strawberry jam and bakery items, we also sell fresh strawberries. We have several rooms of garage sale type items — used books, linens, small household appliances, jewelry, artwork, seasonal decorations, children's items including toys, kitchen items, to name a few. We serve sandwiches and desserts in our Strawberry Cafe and Strawberry Express. There are two rooms of silent auction items — gift certificates, gift baskets and cotlectibles. We offer children's activities, including face painting, cookie decorating and a bounce house. All activities are conducted on church property, and most take place inside our building or within the courtyard areas of our church. For the day of our event, we have church volunteers who help to direct traffic and parking in our parking area, and also place directional signs for those entering and leaving our property. Proceeds from this fund-raiser will be used for the church and its outreach programs, both within the immediate area and for global charities. The church has provided proof of insurance for this event, and has also added the Village of Tequesta as an "additional insured" for this event.
