A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF $1,500.00 FROM THE LAW ENFORCEMENT
TRUST FUND AND APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
POWERFLARE TRAFFIC CONTROL KIT FROM PF DISTRIBUTION
CENTER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has certified that the request complies with the
provisions of U.S. Department of Treasury Guide to Equitable Sharing; and
WHEREAS, the purchase and use of said PowerFlare traffic control kit will
serve the health, safety and welfare of the residents and visitors of the Village of
Tequesta.
WHEREAS, the purchase of the PowerFlare traffic control kit has been funded
and budgeted in the account, "Mach/Equip ", account # 605 -171- 664.600.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 The Village Council hereby adopts Resolution 8 -15 authorizing the
use of $1,500.00 from the Special Law Enforcement Trust Fund to be used to
purchase one (1) PowerFlare traffic control kit from PF Distribution Center.
Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
