BACKGROUND Hannah's Home of South Florida,a boarding school for young expectant mothers,was founded by Mrs.Carol Beresford;and, has its roots in Ohio where Mrs. Beresford began a similar facility in 2002. The three-acre parcel located at 4390 County Line Road includes an existing structure providing a home to full-time residents/students enrolled in the two-year program. The program provides food, shelter, dental and medical care, counseling, career planning and continuing education. Hannah's Home is a non-profit organization and is licensed as a school with the Florida Department of Education as an institution where young women can continue and complete their high school education or receive their GED.
