HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice_Local Planning Agency_Tab _05/21/2015 A PUBLIC NOTICE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA PLANNING AND ZONING ADVISORY BOARD MEETING LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY MEETING The Planning and Zoning Advisory Board of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Hall located at the Village Council Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida on May 21, 2015 at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to act upon the foilowing development application(s): SPM 3-15: Application from CDG Holding Company, LLC for a minor site plan modification to install two (2) identicai decorative architectural features on the building front elevation. The address of the proposed application is 521 Old Dixie Hwy, Tequesta, Florida, 33469. SPM 4-15: Application from Pet Supermarket Inc. for a minor site plan modification of an existing shopping center to raise the building front elevation parapet wall from 17ft to 23ft, and to modify entrance doors and windows, for this tenant site. The plaza owner is Tequesta Investors, LP. The address of the proposed application is 229 North US Highway 1, Tequesta, Florida, 33469. Immediately following the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board Public Hearing, the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board sitting as the Local Planning Agency of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Council Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469, continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to consider and make recommendations to the Village Council regarding the following proposed ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. 7-15 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEqUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 22. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. ARTICLE II, DIVISIONS 2 AND 3, BY PLACING FINAL AUTHORITY TO HEAR REQUESTS FOR CERTAIN ZONING VARIANCES AND CERTAIN ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS WITH THE PLANNING AND ZONING ADVISORY BOARD, AND CLARIFYING OTHER DUTIES OF THE BOARD; AND RENAMING THE BOARD TO BE REFERRED TO AS THE "PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD"; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER PROVISION OF CHAPTER 22. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BY REMOVING ALL REFERENCE TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND SUBSTITUTING IN ITS PLACE THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER PROVISION OF CHAPTER 76. WATERWAY CONTROL. SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BY REMOVING ALL REFERENCE TO THE BOARD OF ADIUSTMENT AND SUBSTITUTING IN ITS PLACE THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD; FURTHER CLARIFYING THAT THE BUILDING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT HANDLES REQUESTS FOR VARIANCES FROM THE VILLAGE'S FLOODPLAIN ORDINANCE; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER PROVISION OF CHAPTER 78. ZONING. SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. Related documents are available for inspection and copying in the office of the Village Clerk at the Village Hall, Monday through Friday during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Public Hearings may be continued from time to time, as necessary. All interested persons are encouraged to come to the Public Hearings and be heard. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board or the Local Planning Agency with respect to any matter considered at such meetings or hearings, he or she will need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record should include the testimony and evidence from which the appeal is to be based. The Village of Tequesta does not provide such a record. PUBLISH DATE: May 10, 2015
